Koro Riskar is actually a character that I created long before mabinogi came to Korea. He is my role playing character and has been involved in many forums with his skills and talents. I can never find the perfect picture of him, and even though I've tried drawing or creating him on mabinogi, he never appears the same as he does in my imagination. However I can always explain him So pull up a chair and a warm cup of choco and listen to the tale of Koro Riskar.... Long ago in a distant land, off the coast of the main continent, was a series of islands under the rule of a kind and generous monarch named Talon Riskar. He ruled the islands and made they into a thriving kingdom called Risgard, and the reign of this kingdom had been in his family for generations. The islands were not tropical, nor were they icy cold like in the north, but they were in the middle, and had very few palm trees. The people experienced hard times, and were attacked by mauradering pirates occasionally, but for the most part, all was peaceful and prosperous, and the kingdom created huge trade networks with far distant lands and with realms on the main continent. However, as we all know, peace does not last forever..... A giant storm came and smashed the islands driving many underground and destroying much of their crops and also breaking ships in half and causing all kinds of chaos and destruction upon the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Risgard. People huddled together for warmth and waiting for the storm to pass, and babies were crying and fathers were worried about the coming winter. The storm lasted for 3 days and nights, and on the fourth day, the winds ceased and the storm died out, leaving the sky full of clouds but no more rain. The people began to come out of their houses and rebuild what was lost. The Royal family came out of their palace to help them rebuild. The place that took the most damage was the docks, and most of the people were there, because they knew that help would be arriving from the mainland soon enough. Talons daughter Mirrium, was an inquisitive girl and went exproling on the beach at this time since she was too small to help much and wanted to see a shipwreck that had washed ashore on the beach that was surrounded by Cliffs, and had steps from the palace going down to it. She explored the ruined remains, but didn't find anything interesting. As she was leaving and starting to go back up the stairs, she heard a moan from the ocean waves, and curious she moved closer. She found a very small boy, looking no more than 6 years old, washed up on the beach, still being pounded by the waves. She herself was only 9 and so she desperatly tryed dragging him out of the water to safety. He was unconsous, and was wearing a plain brown tunic, and had a ring on with curious markings that looked like a moon with a sword through it. Mirrium was also startled to notice that the boy had slightly pointed ears, and sharp handsome features that seemed almost otherworldly. Curious she took the ring and ran off to find her father and bring help to the boy. The boy had lost all memory of his past life, and all he could remember was the name 'Koro' (pronounced Core-row) and that his ring had special importance. He wasn't sure what the name meant or even if it was his own, and the ring was as much a mystery to him as it was to the Riskars. The boy was adopted into the royal family, and was given the name 'Koro Riskar' and began to learn all kinds of new and different things from his new family. He seemed to grow slower than the other boys, but was still as strong as the eldest brother, Randall, who was easily a head bigger and 7 years older. Koro had a knack for learning and quickly excelled at swordsmanship and music, and soon grew to be better at music than his foster brother. The older brother did not feel jealous however, but more happy for this new boy, and the two became the best of friends, always with each other, despite the age difference. Mirrium watched the boy with curiosity, and was rather shy when around him, and would blush whenever he spoke to her. Talon treated koro as his own flesh and blood and koro loved him the greatest for the love the kind king gave him. The island was quickly put back in order and rebuilt and their prosperity grew all the more. Pirates seemed to stop their attacks, and the trade network got bigger and stronger and made the family and the people of Risgard very wealthy and happy, and the guards grew more and more careless with the defense of the island. Time passed like this for about ten years. Koro and Mirrium's relationship grew stronger and stronger with each passing year, and they could be seen holding hands when walking about the palace and the beaches and in the forests. Koro had grown quite a bit and had became one of the best swordsmen on the island, even beating some of the guards with his quick wit and skills. He was also one of the brightest and was conversing deep topics with some of the elders in the vast libraries in the Palace. Koro and King Talon would often be together, playing chess, and discussing whatever they wanted with no reserves. Some of the scholars and advisers did not like the careless and open way the two acted with each other and thought it was unbecoming of both a king and a prince. But neither Koro nor the king cared. Koro would often spar with the one person who was his equal in swords, his older brother Randall. The two were the best of friends, but when it came to swords and wrestling the two could beat the daylights out of each other and would cause quite a stir. But they always ended up laughing in the end, still the inseparable best friends and brothers. King Talon and his wife soon agreed that Koro had grown so much that he needed more experience then the island of Risgard had to offer and arranged for Koro to spend 5 years away from home, learning about different places, attending school, and traveling the trade routes. Koro leaped at the opportunity, but than he was also sad because of it. He would be leaving his family behind and wouldn't see them again for 5 years. No more sparring with Randall, no more Chess with King Talon.....and the worst of all, no more walking and talking with Mirrium. The two had grown to love each other, and Koro planned on marrying her when he got back. but it was still 5 years away. Koro still accepted his parents offer, also curious to see how the world worked outside of the island, and driven to want to learn and achieve more. The parting was tear filled and sad, but the burning in Koro's heart to explore and learn was too great. He and Randall wrestling one last time, and punched each others shoulders, promising to pound the other once Koro go back. Koro hugged his parents goodbye and lastly Mirrium. The two embraced and kissed like their love would last and stand the test of time and space. Then, slowly and regretfully they withdrew from each other, and Koro Walked up the plank onto his ship, the 'Corsair' and waved goodbye as the ship unfurled the sails and left the island and his family behind. Not knowing that this would be the last time Koro ever saw his family alive......... and I will continue with Koro's story soon enough. I have a date with a really cute girl tonight and I don't want to be late, see you all later

<3 you too mom and on with the Tale of Koro Riskar....... Koro was sad that he was leaving his home, but he was also jumping for joy at the chance to learn new things and meet new people. His first stop was a nearby island called 'Rissane', and there he met many people similiar to the people on Risgard. There he learned all about shipping and sailing and all about the way ships work. He learned how to tie so many knots and became quick at each of them, and even exceeded many of the veteran sailors with his quick and nimble fingers. He was taught by the best people the island had to offer, and they treated him with respect, but did not coddle him, and there were many times Koro would go to sleep sore and confused. He learned quickly though and soon his teachers nodded their heads in approval and sent him onto his next stage in his journey. Koro visited various parts of the Trade network and islands and than traveled off to the mainland. At the mainland he attended an academy for princes and learned so much and worked hard. He was one of the brightest students, but even than there were many others who easily out-shined him and could beat him at both swords and knowledge. His time at the academy was difficult to say the least. He was smaller than the other students and would get picked on for his small frame. But whenever he fought, people would always be surprised at his strength and stamina, and would be curious about his slightly pointed ears and sharp features. But he was still made fun by others, no matter how much he excelled. He found a few friends among the students, and they banded together and became a tight knit group that none would dare mock while they were together. Koro soon hit a growth spurt while at the academy and although he was still shorter than most, his body became more compact and he was quickly becoming the best swordsmen at the school. He dueled those that made fun of him and surpassed them all, and was soon dueling the masters for practice to hone his skills. However, when it came to books and knowledge, he still lagged behind some of the other students. His main joy though was in music. He played various instruments both with strings and with without, but he soon choose his favorite, the Mandolin. It suited him best, as it could play both fast joyous party like music, and could also be peaceful and slow and mezmorizing. Koro stayed at the academy for 4 years, and graduated with high honors, and also as the friend to all, and was admired by even those who had laughed and scorned him. Although they admired him, they still kept their distance. They celebrated with him and offered to help him if he ever needed it, but it was empty words. They were fearful of him and his abilities and talents, but would not openly say anything about it. They respected him yes, but were not his friends as he would find out. The school celebrated the success of its students and their graduation, and sent them off to their respective homes with all the knowledge and skill they had taught the students. Koro knew his 5 years were almost up, however, he still felt like he had more to explore and more to do outside of home, and wrote home, trying to pursuade his family to let him explore for another 2 years. They grudgingly agreed, and Mirruim opposed his staying away, but after a firey exchange of letters over a month or so, she finally agreed, and made him promise to return home as soon as possible. One of the men on the neighboring island of Rissane wanted to marry Mirruim himself, and had moved to Risgard and made several advances on her, but she had turned him down, several times. she was almost past marrying age, and people began to spread rumors about her never getting married. Koro dismissed these rumors and promised to return in two years. He than set out on his journey inland, away from the coast and the ocean where he had lived his whole life. He found joy wandering though forests and basking in the moonlight while his comrads slept. He quickly grew fond of the mainland and discovered something he previously thought only a myth, Dwarves. They did not hide from people, and had actually been in quite a few cities Koro had been in, but Koro was fascinated with them and soon visited some of their cities, learning their language and culture and all about their society and black smithing works. Koro didn't enjoy black smithing himself, but he admired the dwarves crafts and how they could create wondrous swords and armor out of lumps of rock. He was curious and spent the next two years learning all that he could about dwarves. The dwarves enjoyed his company and soon began calling him "Tree-stone" because of the way koro looked small and not very strong or tough, but had a hidden strength that could match even the dwarves ferocious hearts. When his two years were up, Koro regretfully left the dwarves and on his journey back home he came across something he had never expected. He happened to find a wandering group of elves who watched him curiously and followed him for a few days before approaching him and his company. They were wonderful and koro felt an odd sensation as if he knew them personally and bonded with them quickly. But, the strangest thing about their meeting was how they treated Koro. They treated him, almost like family, and called him in elvish, "Elf-Human." This puzzled him as they called all his friends normal names. Koro asked questions, but they avoided the answers, and would touch his ears and laugh in their merry elven way. They taught him some of their words and language and smiled knowingly to each other when Koro spoke their language easier than any human could. This puzzled him even more, and he and his company traveled with those elves for a few weeks, and than departed, leaving Koro confused, and with a message to visit someone called "Blue-Leaf" in one of their cities. Koro sorrowfully left them, but was surprised and shocked and dismayed when he found that his two years were past and that he was late in returning to his home, and to his love. He hurried home with all the speed he could possibly muster and force his small company to go, and pushed his encounter with the elves into one of the corners of his mind for another time. He hurried back to the coast and found to his surprise his ship the 'Corsair' waiting for him, along with some of his best friends from Risgard and Rissane. And more surprising he found out that his best friends from the academy also belonged to the Kingdom of Risgard and came from neighboring islands. He was overjoyed at this and began his triumphant, if late, return home........ and I will continue writing the rest of the history later. There are many more things that have happened on his journey throughout the land, but I have condensed them so I would not take forever to write and read. The next part should be the most emotional and epic of Koro's History, and is the reason for who he is today, even if he doesn't speak about it. I will finish the next segment, later

This should be the longest part, and also the most emotional, and please comment on my writing skills, I enjoy feedback on what I can do better :] anyway, here is the third part of the Tale of Koro Riskar...... It was a three day trip from the mainland to the island of Risgard in the Kingdom of Risgard, and every minute seemed to drag on for hours for Koro. His skin tingled and his heart raced, he was going home. The first day of the journey passed uneventfully, and Koro worked alongside the sailors, tying knots and helping to run the ship. He felt a little uneasy on a ship after spending so much time on land and in caves, and at first the rocking of the waves and the openness of the ocean frightened him, and made his stomach queasy. He soon overcame his sea sickness in the middle of the second day, and was even more joyful and happy because of it. That night was a full moon, and a slight breeze, and so Koro went up on deck and stared off into the ocean with the bright Moon above. It brought peace to his soul because of how the waves reflected the moon, twisting it this way and that, and taking away all of his cares. Memories began flashing through his head, and he smiled and chuckled at each one. He recounted him and his foster brother Randall dueling with their stick swords and how some of the guards came rushing to see what all the noise and shouting was about, just to find the two boys locked in combat, wielding the wooden swords as if they were real blades and the pair had been bitter enemies all their lives. They fought furiously and the guards were going to separate them, but then the two boys laughed their heads off and began fighting one of the guards with their sticks. The guards glared as he was struck with the wooden weapons, but then chuckled and picked up one for himself, and then he covered one of his eyes and pretended to be a pirate, and Randall and Koro had squealed with excitement and they both rushed at him, trying to get a good whack in on the soldier who was easily 25 years older than they were, and could have swept them aside, but instead played with them. Another memory was when Koro and Randall were in their early teens and they decided to try to sneak into the treasure room and get their hands on a golden eagle statue their father had told them about. They were giddy with anticipation and made maps and plans and even included Mirruim in them to distract one of the guards. Mirruim had pretended that is was a silly venture, but she smiled and soon became just as giddy as they were. When the plan was set in action, Mirruim went and distracted the guard by the treasure room as Koro and Randall snuck to the door and picked the lock and entered without the guard noticing. They clapped hands and congratulated each other and then moved into the room, and quickly found a pedestal with the Golden Eagle in a glass case. But, as they approached, their father King Talon raised from a pile of gold they stepped on and they screamed with fright, thinking they had awakened a golden monster, and not knowing it was their own father. King Talon had laughed his head off when the boys discovered how they were foiled, and that the monster had been their own father, and how Mirruim had told her mother about Koro and Randall’s plans. Memories of Koro’s foster mother and father floated into his head. He remembered staying up late talking with his mother, Queen Esmerelda, about what seemed like important things, and having deep discussions whenever Koro was troubled. They had talked about life and death, and how God watched over him and protected them from danger. They had some of the most interesting conversations, and since Koro was the youngest boy, he had become the Queens little boy and the two did a lot of things together. Koro was a little embarrassed by her open love for him, such as the time she caught him and some other boys playing and she kissed his on the cheek in front of Koro’s friends, making his cheeks turn bright red with embarrassment. He loved her though. She was the one he first came to with the question of why he didn’t look related to Randall or Mirruim. He still remembered the shock of finding out that he had washed up on the beach in a storm and how Mirruim had found him and saved him. It had struck him to his core and he had hid away from everybody up in a tree for three days, contemplating his life, and what his sword and moon ring had meant. His mother comforted him when he finally came out of his tree and helped him accept who he was, and how someday he should try to find out who his real parents were. She had taught him so much, and he loved her just as much as if she were his real mother. His foster father King Talon was the main tuter of of his three children and taught them most of the skills they would need later in life. He had taught them all about math and money, and droned on for hours about trading and shipping, and merchants and all about daily life and business in the Kingdom. They were mostly boring lectures with lots of writing and note taking, however, King Talon was also an accomplished story teller. When it seemed as if Randall, Koro, and Mirruim couldn’t keep their eyes open and their pencils moving, he would thrill them with a story about pirates trying to capture merchant vessels, only to find King Talon and his men aboard the ships, ready for a fight. Koro loved these stories, and would watch with wide fascinated eyes as his father demonstrated fighting off pirates and how sometimes it felt like they would never end, when another pirate ship would come, and how thanks to Talons skills and genius, he was able to destroy both pirate ships masts and sail away unharmed. The three children would clap and cheer as they heard about their father’s youth before he was king of Risgard, and how their grandfather King Mitus had sent Talon on the various merchant ships where pirates would attack. Koro also remembered how him and Talon would play Chess all day long, trying to see who could outsmart and outthink the other. For most of his life, Koro had never been able to beat his father at Chess, until one day. Koro was older and it was a year before he had to leave for the prince academy and the mainland, and him and his father Talon decided to play Chess. It was the most brutal and challenging game the two had ever played, and the sun went from morning to night, and they were still trying to outsmart each other. They even played all night long, and as the sun was just rising and the first few streams of light fell on the island, Koro finally checkmated his father and won. It was one of the happiest moments for Koro, and although to everyone else this was a small and unimportant thing, Koro was ecstatic that he had finally beat his father and how he had roused Randall from sleep just to tell him about his victory. Koro loved his father, and enjoyed every moment they were together. Whether Talon was teaching or playing, Koro looked up to him, and tried to emulate him in every way, and the two could not have been closer. Koro came back to the present as a large wave rolled under them, and moved the moons reflection into a wavy silver wire in the water. He looked back at the ship, leaning against the railing, and gazed at the rigging and at the few crew members walking the deck, making sure everything was in tip top condition. A breeze swept across the deck, blowing Koro’s short brown hair, and making him shiver. The wind was against them, which would delay his return to him home even more. He didn’t mind though. He smiled and reached into his pocket, and pulled out a light green silk cloth. He tenderly opened it up and held a ring of unmatched beauty. It had one large diamond surrounded by bright green emeralds, on a golden band that seemed to be intertwined with another gold band. On the inside of the band were the words, “I love you more than Life itself--Koro.” He fingered the ring delicately, staring at its beauty and remembering his sweet love that awaited him on the Island, Mirruim. He smiled, remembering all the things him and Mirruim had done as little kids and how they grew to love each other. There was one time where the two decided to run away and hide in the nearby forest. They had grabbed blankets and food and hurried down into the forest and built a tent and laughed and played in the woods until nightfall, than they huddled up for bed. The two of them had been scared out of their wits that night as they listened to the sounds of the woods, and heard a wolf howl at the moon, and they both shivered with terror, than a loud noise a foot away scared silly and sent the two scurrying back to the castle and their nice warm beds. Koro looked at the moon as the ship continued bobbing up and down on the waves. Him and Mirruim had grown up closer than brother and sister, and they loved taking walks along the beach together, quizzing each other on things they knew and debating on various points of politics they had learned about. At first the walks had started as just two friends walking and talking and watching the waves pound against the surf. However, as the years rolled by, Mirruim began to blush more often around Koro as they walked and talked, and Randall would tease them both because they spent so much time together, just like their mother and father. Koro tried laughing Randall’s comments off, but deep down, he wished he wasn’t Mirruims brother so they might pursue a different relationship, other than just friends. Than,in one of his many discussions with his mother and father, Koro learned that he had been adopted into the Riskar Family, and that Mirruim had no blood ties to him and that his mother approved of him and Mirruim. This revelation sent sparks of joy coursing through his body and he remembered bouncing off the walls after he had learned this. Him and Mirruim grew closer together after this, and soon could be seen holding hands as they walked the beach. Her golden hair blowing in the ocean breeze, and her soft brown eyes sent Koro’s heart into a flutter as they walked along some rocks to a place he had found by the beach. The sun was beginning to go down, and curiously enough, the moon seemed to be following it down its course, and Koro gently pulled and guided Mirruim along the rocks to an empty shore that nobody could get to except from the rocks that were pounded by the ocean. He had blindfolded her and wanted to surprise her, and as he reached the little cove that had the perfect view of the sun and moon, he sat her down and sat down beside her, and took off the blindfold. She gasped at the scene, staring out over the water as both the sun and moon descended together into the horizon. After the two had marveled at the scene, a lump formed in Koro’s throat. He could smell Mirruim’s soft fragrance, and he couldn’t speak. Their warm bodies leaned against each other, gazing into the distance. His heart trembling, he knew this was the perfect moment, and he leaned his head closer and Mirruim looked up at him, and seemed as if she was gazing into his very soul. She was the most beautiful girl in the world, and suddenly a smile lit up her face, and the first flowers of spring or the moon and sun together, all the beauty in the world couldn’t compare to that smile that she gave Koro. His heart pounding, but his body remained in pace, amazed at the beauty before him. Then, slowly, she moved her hand and stroked his cheek with her soft hands, and brought her gorgous lips closer and kissed him. Koro’s mind exploded into a hundred different fragments, but he could only focus on the one he loved, and he kissed her back, wishing the moment could last forever. Koro chuckled, as he remembered this first kiss, still heading for his home. He gripped the ring as tightly as he dared and brought it to his heart, longing to be back with Mirruim. The days him and Mirruim had been apart seemed longer than they were, and Koro anxiously stared across the open water in the direction he knew was home. A crew member came up beside him, and told him that it was time for lights out and that he need not worry, all would be fine tomorrow as they landed in Risgard as the sun would be going down. Koro thanked the man, and looked in the direction of his home, remembering and longing to be home already, and he turned and went below deck to go to sleep, not knowing the horrors that awaited him the next day……..

In the morning was a sight that confused everyone on board the ship. It looked like a small wisp of smoke was rising from the direction where Risgard was. It confused them, especially since they were still quite far away and couldn’t even see the island yet. A hard rock began forming in Koro’s stomach, although he did not know why, but as they continued closer to his home, the rock grew and grew, and Koro became worried. It seemed as it the closer they got, the bigger the smoke got. Of course, a wind was blowing towards them, slowing them down, as well as bringing some ugly looking thunderheads that seemed so saturated with water that it might rain that very day. Worry grew in the hearts of everyone on board as the rainclouds gathered over head, and the wisp of smoke, grew into what seemed like a giant cloud of even more smoke. One of the sailors tried making a joke that the smoke was from all the fires that were cooking a banquet for Koro, the rock in his stomach wouldn’t let him laugh. Koro knew something was wrong, he just didn’t know what. A very light sprinkling began as The island of Risgard came into View, and horror gripped everyone’s hearts, as they saw their beloved Island of Risgard burning. Burning from more than a hundred fires and engulfing the whole island in red and orange and making the clouds above take on an orange and red hue. Koro’s heart began beating wildly, not knowing what was happening or going on, but expecting the worst. As they got closer, the sun behind the clouds started to sink, casting the world into a strange orange and red twilight, the likes nobody had ever seen before, and as they got close enough to make out what was happening, the sight catch their eyes and hearts and dashed them against the cold hard rocks. The entire island was engulfed in flames. The worst sight however were what looked like twelve or more pirate ships all bearing the flag of a black background with a wolf bone head with crossed bones behind it. The sight sent chills down everyone’s spine, except for Koros. His blood boiled and his heart raced as he ran across the deck, yelling orders to everyone. “Stop gapping like a bunch of cackle eyed grease worms and go faster!!! You there! Make the rowers go faster, drum up the double time!!! HURRY MEN!!! PREPARE TO ENGAGE THE ENEMY!!, WAR IS UPON US!!!! LOAD THE JAVALIN LAUNCHERS!! GET YOUR SORRY ARSES IN GEAR!!!! WE NEED TO SAVE OUR HOMELAND!!!!! HURRY!!!!! GO FASTER THAN YOU’VE EVER GONE BEFORE!!” Koro was dressed in a brown tunic with brown pants that were tucked into his dark brown boots that he got from the dwarves. Covering his chest was hardened leather armor. A brown cape billowed on his back, and on his head was a simple helm, covering his short brown hair. He carried a Hand-and-a-half sword and his amber eyes blazed with the intensity that belonged only to wolves or other animals that would defend their homes at any cost. As the ship prepared for war got closer, it seemed a few of the pirate ship were leaving back into the west, and only three ships remained. But as they got closer, one of the ships disembarked and began approaching them, leaving the other two on the docks. The crew was close enough to see pirates running amuck all over the island, and a raging inferno in the forest and in the town and the sky was both black and gray, and red and orange and cast dubious shadows that make everything look gruesome and horrible. Nobody dared approach Koro, he was in a furry like no one had ever believed possible, and when they began firing on the one pirate ship, his eyes blazed as if he could kill with just a stare. Inside his heart seethed with loathing hate for these pirates and he wanted nothing better than to kill them all and rush to the island and sweep his beloved Mirruim in his arms. The ships came together and fiery javelins leaped into each ship and the crew rushed to put out the flames, and then the boarding parties came and Koro’s crew crushed all who came on their ship and dove onto the other one and began slaughtering the pirates with a fervor that no mortal could stop. Koro was the main attack and drove the pirates before him with heated movements and terrified the pirates with his gaze alone. The ship was soon commandeered and Koro and some others crewed the second vessel back towards the island and toward his home, which was on fire, even the castle he had lived in was one fire. Koro raced through the streets killing any pirate who dare oppose him, leaving his crew behind to deal with the remaining pirates. But Koro ran as fast as he had ever ran before towards his home where he had been raised, and where Mirruim was. His heart pounded as he entered the still burning gates and across the scorched courtyard and up the stairs. It looked as if this was the first place the pirates had attacked and they had cleared out most of the palace. Koro rushed onward through the castle, and ran up the stairs towards Mirruims room. He found it as he had a thousand time before, but inside was burned except for anything valuable which had been stolen out, and Koro’s heart skipped a beat with hope, because Mirruim wasn’t there. Koro ran around, not knowing where his family was, and he leaned against the wall, his chest heaving from in taking smoke and running so much. His eyes burned furiously and his skin tingled, but he didn’t care. As he was silent he heard a noise coming from up the stairs to the largest tower in the castle, and that’s when he ran the fastest, taking the stairs three at a time, hope flaring in his heart. At the top of the stairs were a room and Koro rushed inside to a sight he had never wanted to see in all his life. There on the floor lay Randall his brother, dead, with four arrows in his chest and arms, along with various sword cuts all over his body, and an axe imbedded in his heart, his blood covering the ground the twenty five bodies of pirates that lay littered about him and all the signs of a vicious struggle. Koro would have stopped and mourned his brother’s death; however, he could still hear swords clashing on the topmost part of the castle. He was just coming up the stairs when the swords stopped, and down the stairs came the three biggest brutes Koro had ever seen. They each were bloodied from war and killing and had huge bloody scimitars. Koro’s eyes blazed and his heart gave a leap and seared with fire because of what had happened to his brother, and he killed each man without hesitation and without mercy, his face a scowl, with eyes that burned with hatred. He killed them and ran up the stairs just in time to hear Mirruim scream in horror and collapse dead from a pirate’s cutlass. The pirate stood over her with a grin on his face at the work he had done, and a weak groan was uttered from an almost dead Talon who lay on the ground with a sword right through his body and a crossbow bolt in his neck, and queen Esmerelda lying dead on the ground beside her daughter. Koro lost control of all of his senses and lopped off the pirates head and kicked his body down off the tower. He rushed to his father who was still breathing. Talon looked up at koro, and grinned as best he could. He only had one eye left, and his lip was cut, and streaming blood. Tears began to flow down both his and Koro’s face. It seemed as if the world had stopped moving, and the image of his father dying was burned into Koro’s memory. In a raspy dead like voice, King Talon spoke, “son, good to see you back.” He choked on blodd and spat out a huge glob of it all over himself. “My time has come Koro. You are now the king. Protect this kingdom and never lose sight of helping and defending people.” He coughed and spat out more blood and smiled and took Koro’s hand, and Koro watched as the life slowly faded from his fathers eyes. The world seemed to fade and lose all meaning, but Koro slowly put down his father’s hand and moved over to the one he loved. He was on his knees with her head and body in his lap, and he felt as if his heart had been torn out of him and trampled by a hundred marching soldiers. His cheeks were wet and he didn’t care. He rocked his love back and forth, feeling the warmth in her body seep away as her blood ran out onto him and the stones below. He loved her more than life itself, and he gazed at her glazed brown eyes, and felt her golden hair run through his fingers. He held her body and wept. His world had crumbled around him and all fire and anger had vanished, and was replaced by a hopeless sense of despair and loss. The world no longer mattered, nothing mattered. His body trembled with loss and every inch of him seemed to scream in loss and pain. He looked up and over the edge on the tower at the distance to the bottom of the distant rock below, where he knew he could easily end all his suffering and pain. He tried to swallow past the lump in his throat, but couldn’t. He couldn’t even bring himself to kill himself. All he wanted to do, and all he did, was rock back and forth with his love in his arms as tears flowed down his cheeks and onto her lifeless body, grief overwhelming him.
